Streetcar Service Changes

501/301 route changes

Effective October 12, 2025, until February 2026

301B Queen bus service will be introduced and operate between Broadview Station and Parliament Street and King Street East via Queen Street. 

This service change is being made due to watermain work on Queen Street East between Broadview Avenue and Davies Avenue, beginning late October 2025. 

Please note: Trip planning apps will show 501/301 Queen streetcars diverting both ways on Dundas Street East between Broadview Avenue and Parliament Street. However, this diversion will not go into effect until late October 2025. 501 Queen and 301 Queen streetcars will be following regular routing until then.

Ongoing route change:

501/301 Queen streetcars will continue to divert around the Ontario Line construction between Queen and Victoria streets, but will now travel:

Westbound: via Queen Street East, south on Church Street, west on Richmond Street East and West, north on York Street, to route.

Eastbound: via Queen Street West, south on York Street, east on Adelaide Street East and West, north on Church Street, to route.

This diversion provides customers with an uninterrupted streetcar connection to both sides of Line 1 at Osgoode and Queen stations, as well as King Station and across the downtown core. 

There is currently one service change on this route.

Effective, August 31, 2025 

303 Kingston Rd
303 Kingston Rd streetcar service will be suspended. Take a 301 Queen or 304 King streetcar, or 322 Coxwell Night Bus to get to and from downtown.

503 Kingston Rd
503 Kingston Rd streetcars will be replaced by buses. The buses will operate between Dufferin Street and Bingham Loop. 

Please note: These route diversions may be modified on a temporary basis to accommodate additional construction activities planned across the streetcar network. Please check route schedules and trip planning apps for the latest service information.

Effective September 28 - 05:00 a.m. to mid November 2025 (dates subject to change)

Due to streetcar track renewal construction at the King Street West and Dufferin Street intersection

503 Kingston Rd buses will operate between King Street West and Joe Shuster Way and Bingham Loop, due to construction at King Street West and Dufferin Street.

Effective October 12 to February 2026

504B/304 streetcars will only operate as far east as the Distillery Loop.

504D King buses will operate both ways between Broadview Station and King and Parliament streets, due to planned watermain work on Queen Street East between Broadview and Davies avenues.

504A/304 King and 508 Lake Shore streetcars will divert via Queen Street West between Shaw Street and Roncesvalles Avenue, due to construction at King Street West and Dufferin Street.

504B King streetcars will operate to Bathurst Street (Wolseley Loop), instead of Dufferin Gate Loop.

Effective October 12, 2025 until the end of the year 

506/306 Carlton streetcars will divert around the College and McCaul intersection via Dundas Street West between Spadina Avenue and Bay Street, due to streetcar track renewal and overhead work.
