Weekend Service Changes
Subway closures
Line 1
Subway service on Line 1 between St Clair West and St Andrew stations will be replaced by shuttle buses starting at 11 p.m. Friday, June 20, and all day Saturday, June 21 and Sunday, June 22 due to planned track work.
TTC staff will be available to assist customers. Wheel-Trans service will be available for any customer requiring assistance.
Dupont, Museum, Queen’s Park, St Patrick and Osgoode stations will be closed. All other subway stations will remain open for customers to purchase or load a PRESTO card, PRESTO Ticket and connect to surface routes.
Here are alternative surface and subway routes for customers to connect to Line 1*:
St Clair West Station – Take a 512 St Clair streetcar eastbound to St Clair Station.
Queen’s Park Station – Take a 506 Carlton streetcar eastbound to College Station.
St Patrick Station – Take a 505 Dundas streetcar eastbound to Dundas Station.
Osgoode Station – Take a 501 Queen streetcar eastbound to Yonge Street and Adelaide Street West. From there, you have two options:
- Option 1: Walk for approximately two minutes south to King Station
- Option 2: Walk approximately five minutes north to Queen Station.
Customers travelling on Line 2 can connect to Line 1 at Bloor-Yonge Station.
*With the exception of College Station, all stations listed above are accessible.
Line 2
Subway service on Line 2 between Kipling and Islington stations will be replaced by shuttle buses on Saturday, June 21 and Sunday, June 22 for planned track work.
TTC staff will be available to assist customers. Wheel-Trans service will be available for any customer requiring assistance.
Customers with accessibility needs can also take the 149 Etobicoke-Bloor Accessibility Shuttle buses which operate between Kipling and High Park stations.
Kipling and Islington stations will remain open for customers to purchase or load a PRESTO card, PRESTO Ticket and connect to surface routes.
While the TTC does most subway maintenance at the end of service each night, it continues to require weekend and early weeknight closures to complete state-of-good-repair work.
Regular subway service will resume on Lines 1 and 2 on Monday, June 23 at 6 a.m.

PLAY! Taiwan Music and Food Fest
Mel Lastman Square, 5100 Yonge StreetThis music-focused festival takes place June 20 – 22, featuring trending musicians from Taiwan, local bands, and jazz performances. Free entry to all performances. You can find more details here.
To get to the event, take Line 1 to North York Centre Station. From there, it is approximately a 3-minute walk to the venue.
Fairbank Summerfest
Eglinton Avenue West, west of Dufferin StreetFriday, June 20: Beginning at 5 p.m.

For those attending the event, here is how the TTC can take you there:
- Option 1: From Eglinton Station or Eglinton West Station, take a 32 Eglinton West westbound bus. Exit at Eglinton Avenue West at Dufferin Street. From there, it is approximately a 1-minute walk to the festival.
- Option 2: From Dufferin Station, take a 29 Dufferin or a 929 Dufferin Express southbound bus. Exit at Dufferin Street at Eglinton Avenue West. From there, it is approximately a 1-minute walk to the festival.
Please note:
- The 32/322 Eglinton West route will be diverted to accommodate this event. Details about the service adjustment can be found here.
- Due to planned track work, there is no subway service on Line 1 between St Clair West and St Andrew stations starting at 11 p.m. on Friday, June 20, and all day Saturday, June 21 and Sunday, June 22 . There is also no subway service on Line 2 between Kipling and Islington stations on Saturday, June 21 and Sunday June 22. Markham Village Music Festival – Opening Ceremony begins at 6 p.m.

For those attending the festival, here is how the TTC can take you there:
Take Line 2 to Warden Station. While the Warden Station bus terminal is currently closed, customers can take a 102D Markham Road bus from temporary on-street stops on Warden Avenue. From there, it’s approximately a 75-minute ride to stop at Main Street Markham North and Robinson Street, with an. approximately 1-minute walk to the festival from the stop.
City and Colour – Celebrating 20 Years of Sometimes – 7 p.m.
Budweiser Stage, 909 Lakeshore Boulevard WestFor those attending the concert, here are two ways the TTC can take you there:
- Option 1: Take Line 2 to Bathurst Station. From there, take a southbound 511 Bathurst streetcar to Bathurst and King streets. Once you have arrived, you will need to transfer to a southbound 511 Bathurst replacement bus towards Exhibition Loop. Exit at Exhibition Loop, following directional signage to Budweiser Stage.
- Option 2: Take Line 1 to Union Station. From there, take a westbound 510 Spadina streetcar from Union Station to Queens Quay and Spadina Avenue and transfer to a westbound 509 Harbourfront replacement bus towards Exhibition Loop. Exit at Exhibition Loop, following directional signage to Budweiser Stage.
Toronto Blue Jays vs. Chicago White Sox – 7:07 p.m.
Rogers Centre, 1 Blue Jays WayFor those attending, here is how the TTC can take you there:
If you are travelling by subway, take Line 1 to Union Station. From there, exit the station and walk west along the south side of Front Street West to Rogers Centre. Alternatively, you can take the SkyWalk indoor path connecting Union Station to the CN Tower and Rogers Centre.
If you are travelling on bus or streetcar routes in the downtown core, the 510 Spadina, 19 Bay, 97 Yonge, 114 Queens Quay East and 121 Esplanade-River routes will get you to and from the game.
Toronto Argonauts vs. Saskatchewan Roughriders –– 7:30 p.m.
BMO Field, 170 Princes’ Boulevard, Exhibition PlaceFor those heading to the game, here are two ways the TTC can take you there:
- Option 1: Take Line 2 to Bathurst Station. From there, take a 511 Bathurst streetcar to Bathurst and King streets, then transfer to southbound 511 Bathurst replacement bus towards Exhibition Loop. Exit at Exhibition Loop, following directional signage to BMO Field.
- Option 2: Take Line 1 to Union Station. From there, take a 510 Spadina streetcar from Union Station to Queens Quay and Spadina Avenue and transfer to a westbound 509 Harbourfront replacement bus towards Exhibition Loop. Exit at Exhibition Loop, following directional signage to BMO Field.

Saturday, June 21
National Indigenous Peoples Day & Sunrise Ceremony – 5:30 a.m.
Nathan Philips Square, 100 Queen Street WestTo get to the ceremony, take the 320 Yonge Night Bus to Queen Station. From there, it’s approximately a 5-minute walk to the venue.
Harbourfront Farmers Market – 9 a.m.
The Commons at Harbourfront Centre, 235 Queens Quay WestThe Harbourfront Farmers Market takes place every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. until September 27.
For those heading to the Farmers Market, here are two ways the TTC can take you there:
- Option 1: Take Line 1 to Union Station. From there, take a 510 Spadina streetcar and exit at Queens Quay West and Harbourfront Centre. It is an approximately 1-minute walk to the venue from the stop.
- Option 2: Take Line 2 to Spadina Station. From there, take a 510 Spadina streetcar and exit at Queens Quay West and Harbourfront Centre. It is an approximately 1-minute walk to the venue from the stop.
- Option 3: From St Andrew Station, it’s a 15-minute walk south to the venue.

Please note: There is no subway service on Saturday, June 16 between St Clair West and St Andrew stations due to planned track work. Shuttle buses will operate and extra Wheel-Trans vehicles will be available for customers requiring assistance.
If you are travelling northbound on Line 1 towards Vaughan Metropolitan Station, board a shuttle bus and exit at St Clair West Station. From there, take the train northbound to Pioneer Village Station, where it’s a five-minute walk to the venue.
If you are travelling southbound on Line 1 from Vaughan Metropolitan Centre Station, take the train to Pioneer Village Station. From there, it’s approximately a five-minute walk to the venue.
Keith Urban: High and Alive World Tour – 7 p.m.
